The iconic HuskeeCup is made from coffee husk, an often discarded by-product of coffee production. Originally made for coffee shops in conjunction with a cup exchange system. It works effectively in cafes to reduce single-use waste that is common in the coffee service industry. Customers can purchase a HuskeeCup and swap for any size cup at a participating restaurants and cafes with the HuskeeSwap App. We love this concept! And while we do not currently participate in HuskeeSwap, we use our cup regularly and are proud to show off its design wherever we roam!
While the cup is not likely accepted at most US recycling facilities, HuskeeLoop is a return program to recycle the HuskeeCup and is a viable end-of-use solution for high volume cafes.
