Co-founder, Matt, was inspired to find a better solution to plastic straw waste. After watching the BBC series Planet Earth: Blue Planet II presented by David Attenborough, he imagined the world's first telescopic drinking straw as an alternative to single-use plastic straws. He had a few requirements. It needed to be portable and convenient. That idea transformed into The Last Co. Straw, made with stainless steel, which collapses to fit in a lightweight aluminum tube for easy transport. The Last Co. also gives back to the earth, supporting Healthy Seas, Marine Conservation Society, and more, as part of their 1% for the Planet commitment.
